The Couture Seamstress is the only alterations studio in Tallahassee
and the surrounding area that exclusively alters bridal gowns & women's formal wear, including bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom gowns.
The Couture Seamstress is owned by Delbra Percy.
She has 40+ years of experience in sewing everything ranging
from Civil War reenactment costumes to extravagant wedding gowns.

“Hi, I have been sewing for more than 55 years and have 40+ years of experience in bridal gown design and alterations.
As a child, sewing came naturally to me. I have explored many areas of sewing; from clothing, costumes, home décor, quilts, and countless craft items. It was a hobby mostly, but one that gave me great pleasure and satisfaction knowing I had created something special and unique.
I've been helping friends, family and many others for more years than I can remember; altering mostly bridal and bridesmaid dresses. It has always been a pleasure to work with individuals during this time in their life.
